About Morning Glory Transitional Home

Morning Glory Home Inc. was founded by the vision of Mrs. Joan Kirby. The organization was very instrumental in providing temporary housing for families affected by Hurricane Katrina. 

In 2008, the organization was incorporated by the State of Georgia.  In 2010, the organization received their 501 (c) (3) non-profit status.  Since 2010, M.G.T.H Inc. has been active by assisting women who are seeking a second chance to begin her new journey by developing specialized programs which provide temporary housing, assist in obtaining housing, developmental workshops, case management, and community workshops.

M.G.T.H Inc. is focused to provide a safe environment for our clients to reach their goals to increase their opportunity for success. The participants of the organization’s programs are evaluated by their success in obtaining employment, stable housing, and finance management.  The organization has over an 85% success rate of clients reaching their goals to having successful futures
